I was wondering, who of you has ever participated in an MUN?
And are there still some left on your wish list?

I have been to 4.. But still like to go to more!

GrunMUN in Groningen, the Netherlands. My first, a small and lovely MUN. I was India in the General Assembly. Really cool topic about patents and AIDS medication!

WorldMUN in The Hague. We represented Pakistan in DISEC. Such a large committee, a bit too large if you ask me! But the socials were really good and we took Globals to the final of the Social Venture Challenge

UNISCA in Amsterdam. I was chairing GA2. Great MUN, great people, great topics!

MUNRO in Rotterdam. I was policy advisor here. It was the first time they organized an MUN on this school and they needed someone with experience in each council. This was actually a job, but you can imagine it was an awesome job!

Since all these MUNs took place in the Netherlands, I'd love to go to one outside Holland!
So I hope you could share some good memories with us, so I can look where I'd like to go to

Hey! Well I've never been to any although I've traveled for volunteer work with my church and did some simulations that way. Sounds interesting! Where would the 'dream' MUN be for all of you?

I have no idea where my dream MUN would be, but we're busy to create an overview of MUN on our website. That would be great for me so I can just choose one from here and don't need to surf the internet haha (I know, I'm lazy )

Actually, I never participated in a MUN, but I hear so many positive stories about it that I think that I should participate in one soon!

WorldMUN actually changes locations every year. This year, for example, it is in Singapore, so if you attend every year you will not always remain in The Netherlands.

And thanks for the information. I think WorldMUN was in the Netherlands about two years ago if I'm not mistaking, so it will take some time for it to be held in the Netherlands again. But I think there must be some other MUNs in every country although i have no information about that..

That's true! It would be sooo awesome to go to Singapore to participate! Unfortunately I'm not going... anyone who is?

We are currently trying to cooperate with MUN's and we're trying to make a very long list with MUNs all around, so you can just choose one in the place you like
Keep a close look at globalsfoundation.org/global-activities.php, it will be there any moment and there are already some international debating tournaments and festivals listed. Let me know if there is anything you would also like to see up here!
