I think it's always hard to find an orignal theme for your ur party (when you want it ). Last year mine was ElectrOfying Paris ( because I just moveed back from Paris...) Ereveryone had really cool and colourful electro outfits!
I now I just moved to Amsterdam, so I'm thinking about Bohemian Amsterdam or something like that.. Anyone more suggestions?
Or ideas for just random good themes?

A really good one I heard was: go dressed as your favourite club/pub. In my city there a lot of places called like: the blue angel, the box, the palace, the back sheep, the three sisters.. I heard everyone was dressed up really nice! (I had to miss it though, due to holiday...)

Just pic a color and get everything out of the closet. Fun?! Guaranteed!!

I like broad themes because you can choose so many directions with them For instance just pick a letter from the alphabet and see with what people will come up. I also had a party once with the theme: 'Soooo 2008' so that you could pick any topic from the year 2008. That was also really fun

Next year I want to throw a big party at a cool place! I'm getting such good ideas now
But my room now is too small to have exuberant outfits in it and to dance wildly haha. But definitely will do it some day!

We didn't had that much time to buy cool outfits so we went in cocktail dresses because Sex and the City the movie was launched in 2008. But there where people dressed like Farc, Geert Wilders (Dutch politician) and as cigarettes (because of the pohibition of smoking in bars)

Themes huh...There is so many stuff like ehm Fairytales, Disney, Black and white..just name it and it's there.

A friend and I did once twister (the game) and wanted to do a life twister game...not a real succes (although our invitation kicked ass)...can be made a succes but then it should be executed a little bit differently.

I heard a friend went to a party with the theme: Dutch Glamour, liked that one too! You could dress in a glamorous dress with wooden shoes for example

lol yeah we had a party 'dare 2b Dutch' once as well...i heard 'act single, drink double, see triple' once...liked it a lot...though it doesn't really work for ourfits i guess

One of the crazy themes at a fraternity party was 'Disney Princesses'. All the guys came dressed as different princesses rather than the princes or heroes! It was hilarious.

I'm not sure if its actually disney, but I went as Snow White. It was before spring break and I was still a little pasty, worked well for the costume.

Okay I just got an invitation for a house party with an awesome theme (and awesome invitation). The invitation is a postcard dated at 4 june. That is the day the party is and the writer is on the party telling how great it is. The theme is Time Travelers party (kick some past). That explains the date on the 'postcard'. I think it's kinda funny theme since you can wear actually whatever you want but still it's all different probably since you cover like...all times
