My favourites are Donovan Frankenreiter, the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack and Zee Avi

I'm listening on youtube to Donovan Frankenreiter.. sounds really relaxed indeed! A bit like Jack Johnson

My music to relax is Michelle Branch I know I'm outdated haha
And Bob Dylan, I love Bob Dylan.
Duffy is really good too, when I'm in the train and I want to sleep, I put on Duffy. Works really good for me! (Not that her music is boring, I actually like it a lot!)

In high school I did often put on Rammstein to fall asleep. Good music for that At this moment I have like 46 days non stop music on my PC...so hard to choose Relaxing music...ehm often movies music or actually Soundtracks of certain anime series, Michael Nyman (pretty good piano player), Norah Jones and ehm...maybe Ilse deLange sometimes. That is the most 'relaxing' music I got I'm afraid.

It's been some time, but I really need to relax so some music for that would be great! Norah Jones and Trentemoller are indeed both pretty good. I like The XX as well, do you guys know them?

To chill I also like Matthew and the Atlas, the Weepies, Air, some songs of Charlie Winston and Jose Gonzalez.
And Norah Jones is indeed nice to listen to as well

I'm now listening to Matthew and the Atlas... It's indeed very relaxing!

I like Au revoir Simone too a lot to relax. I guess Take me as I am is my most played song at this moment!

I think the biggest part of the names isn't really well known so there's nothing to feel ignorant about
I think that the nice thing of this topic is that you can find some new bands and songs, I always like that
Recently I started listening to Angus and Julia Stone a lot and I really love their music. Also, the song I'll Try Anything Once from the Strokes is very nice for relaxing

Hmm I like Sjoerdje's style! Angus and Julia are great! Bon Iver and Eliot Smith are prolly my two most all-time favorites!

Cathy I always listened to Elliot Smith a few years ago but I totally forgot about it, just downloading some songs again! Thanks for reminding me

The morning after is definitely my favourite song of him!

2 of my favorite songs are "Soothsayer" by Buckethead and "High" by James Blunt. Both, i feel are the most soothing songs i have ever heard before.
